Genetics
The Danish Epilepsy Centre established in 2003 cooperation with the Wilhelm Johannsen Centre for Functional Genome Research, Panum Institute, Copenhagen under leadership of Professor Niels Tommerup. This cooperation in “Epilepsy and Genetics” attempts to contribute to describing the hereditary foundations for epilepsy.
Since 2004 several results have been obtained:
Mrs Rikke Møller has been awarded her Ph.D. in March 2008, consequently she has been hired as post doc. The new PhD-student, Mrs Laura Klitten has joined in spring 2008.
